Job Summary:
The Shift Supervisor at Chick-fil-A is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the Team Leaders and front-line staff. This role involves problem-solving, managing financial procedures, and maintaining a positive work environment. The Shift Supervisor is expected to uphold Chick-fil-A’s core values, lead with integrity, and create a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise, mentor, and support Team Leaders and frontline employees.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and efficient deployment of team members.
- Coach and develop employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Lead by example in professionalism, attitude, and work ethic.
Customer Service & Problem-Solving
- Ensure every guest has a remarkable Chick-fil-A experience.
- Quickly assess customer needs and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Step in during high-volume periods to assist with front-of-house operations.
- Address and resolve operational challenges, ensuring smooth service
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A brand standards and operational procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Work alongside the leadership team to meet business goals and objectives.
- Adapt to changing circumstances and execute shift adjustments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
- Strong ability to problem-solve and handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of cash management and financial accountability.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.
