Cox Bros. BBQ is immediately hiring a Team Member/Pit Master to join our fun and successful restaurant crew! This team member will serve as an opening cook, working from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Restaurant team members should be friendly and willing to learn new tasks. Team members prepare, cook, and plate food with pride. On-the-job training in a fun and supportive atmosphere is provided.
What you'll do as a Team Member/Pit Master:
- Manage the meat and other food items in the smoker, monitoring quality
- Prepares and cooks food daily
- Must be organized and have good time management skills
- Must assume responsibility for morning dishes, staying afloat for the morning shift
- Manage morning food trucks
- Work 2 smokers, monitoring the fire pit
- Use checklist for daily preparation
Team Member/Cook Qualifications:
- Able to lift 60 lbs.
- Food safety certification preferred
- Detail to cleanliness
- Dependable
- Must be 18 years or older
