Job description: We are recruiting our next Kitchen and Culinary Operations Leader. An Ops Leader is responsible for oversight of all shift operations, leading and coaching team members to success, and ensuring an outstanding guest dining experience. Leaders are expected to be able to support business hours and to lead operations through a combination of opening, mid, and closing shifts. Specifically, this position ensures 100% compliance with all Florida Board of Health, Chick-fil-A Inc., and other regulatory standards while working all operational requirements in all business areas to include produce/prep/cleanliness/dish.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct and coach 10-15 team members in order to ensure the safe and proper execution of all shift tasks.
- Ensure food safety, quality and taste requirements and standards are exceeded to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Successfully execute the Think - Plan - Communicate - Execute - Follow-up leadership functions and strategy.
- Maintain cleanliness of your work area and the dining room, parking lot, restrooms.
- Stock supplies and unload supply vehicles as needed to maintain throughout your shift.
- Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience.
- Making deliveries
- Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and creating a positive work environment for everyone
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder
Requirements:
Full-time Position: Must be able to work flexible hours in order to meet business operations demands and operating hours. Leadership demands and business execution from open to close as well as some non-operational requirements on Sunday. Have 1 year of business/restaurant leadership experience. Must be available Mon-Sat 2:00pm-11:00pm
ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification
Language: Proficient in English and Spanish
Education: High School Graduate, preferred two years of post-high school education or equivalent or Bachelor’s degree or above.
Must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest and have great customer service skills.
Reliable transportation with a current driver's license is required
Be authorized to work in the United States
Be at least 18 years old
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
Have at least one-year previous restaurant management or leadership experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical requirements:
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time for up to 90% of the shift.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and up to 75 pounds in a repetitive motion as needed.
Must be able to sit for up to 10% at a time to complete any computer paperwork or reports

Maintaining accurate transfer logs

Maintaining a LEAN production environment
Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen Team Members
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities
Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning on a per set schedule.
