Job Summary
The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring seamless execution across Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH). The role emphasizes leadership development, operational efficiency, and achieving key performance goals in quality, service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence:
- Manage FOH and BOH operations to ensure high-quality food, fast and accurate service, and a clean, safe environment.
- Implement and monitor systems for inventory management, labor scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
- Leadership Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members and leaders to develop a high-performing team.
- Model servant leadership by fostering trust, humility, and communication.
- Guest Experience:
- Champion the Winning Hearts Strategy by delivering fast, friendly, and genuine hospitality.
- Respond to guest feedback and implement solutions to enhance the overall experience.
- Financial Stewardship:
- Monitor and manage labor, food cost, and operational expenses to achieve profitability goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve quarterly performance targets.
- Team Culture:
- Cultivate a positive work environment that aligns with Chick-fil-A’s core values of care and excellence.
- Promote teamwork, communication, and alignment with the restaurant's mission and vision.
Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience in a fast-paced environment (restaurant, retail, or hospitality preferred).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for hospitality and servant leadership.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
