Heart of House Team Member

Rate of pay$12.5 - 15.5 per hour

Position Type:

  • Full-time: a minimum of 30.5 hours each week
  • Part-time: a minimum of 15 hours each week and less than 30 hours each week

Positions available:


The Heart of House Team (kitchen team): This team is a small group of people who work in the “heart” of our restaurant to provide remarkably tasting, quality food for our guests. People who enjoy a small crowd rather than a big one, a fast pace, and working with their hands often enjoy the Heart of House team the best.

Heart of House Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
  • Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations: fries, breading, machines, line, dish, and food prep
  • Stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
  • Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and remaining up-to-date on any changes
  • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
