Back of House Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
- Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed
- Keep the kitchen neat, clean, and orderly at all times
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and staying up-to-date on any changes
- Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Truck & Inventory Specialist Responsibilities
- Receive Deliveries: Ensure all incoming deliveries are accurately counted, inspected for quality, and properly stored according to Chick-fil-A food safety standards
- Inventory Organization: Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage areas including dry storage, refrigerators, and freezers
- Product Rotation: Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to ensure product freshness and minimize waste
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor and track product levels throughout shifts to ensure kitchen has what is needed to operate efficiently
- Communication: Proactively communicate low stock items, discrepancies, and quality concerns to Leadership
- Assist with Inventory Counts: Help with regular and periodic inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and assisting in identifying variances
- Waste Management: Track expired or damaged product, following proper disposal processes and reporting to Leadership
- Equipment Knowledge: Be familiar with proper operation and care of storage and inventory equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and shelving systems
- Assist in Forecasting Needs: Collaborate with Leadership to anticipate inventory needs based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonal changes
