Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting a positive working environment. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our store by leading, coaching, and developing our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Assist in managing daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of employees to maintain high standards of service and food quality.
- Schedule staff according to business needs, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure all customers receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
- Handle customer complaints and issues effectively, turning negative experiences into positive outcomes.
- Operational Excellence:
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock orders, and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and operational standards.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to enhance store performance.
- Financial Performance:
- Assist in managing store budgets, labor costs, and profitability.
- Participate in financial planning, sales forecasting, and cost control.
- Team Development:
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop staff through training programs.
- Foster a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Support local store marketing initiatives to increase sales and brand awareness.
- Engage with the community to enhance store visibility.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role preferred, in the food service or retail industry.
- Proven track record in managing teams and operations.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Basic math skills for inventory and cash management.
- Proficiency in using POS and inventory management systems.
- Attributes:

- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks like bending, reaching, and stooping.
