A Director at Chick-fil-A is a key leader responsible for overseeing various aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Directors provide strategic vision, foster team development, and ensure the restaurant achieves operational goals while delivering a remarkable guest experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead by example, embodying Chick-fil-A's core values of hospitality, integrity, and service excellence.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train team members to fulfill their roles with excellence and enthusiasm.
  • Mentor and develop team leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of a specific area of the restaurant, ensuring seamless coordination across all areas.
  • Ensure adherence to Chick-fil-A standards for food safety, cleanliness, and quality.
  • Implement systems to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) such as speed of service, labor cost, and food cost.

Guest Experience:

  • Champion a culture of exceptional hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Financial Stewardship:

  • Manage budgets and operational costs, focusing on maximizing profitability while maintaining high standards.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Operator and other restaurant leaders to develop and execute strategies to achieve business goals.

Strategic Planning:

  • Participate in leadership meetings to develop short- and long-term goals for the restaurant.
  • Drive initiatives to improve systems, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Stay current with industry trends and integrate best practices into operations.


Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in a quick service restaurant or hospitality setting (quick-service or full-service preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Chick-fil-A's brand standards and culture (preferred but not required).
  • Must be able to open and close the restaurant with weekend availability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous leadership role with Chick-fil-A and experience with Chick-fil-A operational systems (preferred but not required).
