Job Posting: Marketplace Assistant Operations Manager
Gervasi Destinations is seeking a warm vibrant personality to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. The Marketplace Assistant Operations Manager is an intergal part of the team to ensure an exceptional experience from the moment the guest enters the store until the completion of their visit in the store. The Marketplace Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for being part of a positive staff culture and dynamic work environment that embraces our ‘Celebrate Life’ motto.
This is a Full Time Salary Position with Benefits. Applicant must have full availability and schedule flexibility.
Responsibilities: (Included but not limited to)
- Manage and oversee all retail spaces (Marketplace, Twisted Olive -Olive Pit, Still House)
- Lead FOH operations: Ensuring staff are following Register, Floor, and Dress Code standards/guidelines at all times
- Assist with staffing: Hiring, Reviewing and overall staff concerns
- Oversite of and perform general staffing duties: open/close the store, setting up/closing out the register, proactively monitoring for shoplifters, cleaning of retail/ backroom spaces, etc.
- Offer and provide direct assistance to guests
- Provide in-depth knowledge of our products
- Process purchases, returns and exchanges
- Handle guest complaints
- Help organize backstock and inventory
- Process shipments
- Organize and replenish front stock
Requirements:
- Previous retail and/orsales experience
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
