Group Management Services is looking to hire a full time Compliance Specialist within our Payroll Tax department.

What does the position of Compliance Specialist entail?
- Handle day-to-day activities related to the filing of PEO reports in all states and locals
- Managing all correspondence as it relates to PEO and TPA compliance in all jurisdictions and working with any additional outsourced entities with the same goal
- Helping clients that wish to expand their enterprises outside the State of Ohio
- Field phone calls related to compliance tax inquiries
- Enter tax notices into CRM and resolve compliance tax notices
- File compliance and license returns for all states
- File all state PEO reporting and all state annual reporting
- Research and complete TPA filing requirements
- Research and complete client state and local registration and dissolution
- Process client merger/acquisitions/FEIN changes
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- Base Salary Range between $45,000-$50,000

What are some Qualifications?
- Education - Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience - 2 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Skills - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred
- Requirements - Must be available for extended hours during key tax periods (quarter/year-end); May not take more than two consecutive days off in January, April, July, or October without approval.
