As Bussers, you are in the eye of our valued guests. You should present a positive attitude as you perform your duties with professional efficiency.
• Clear tables and take dirty dishes to dishwasher
• Wipe down tables and chairs
• Ensure the floor is free of debris
• Reset tables
• Help stack dishes properly for dishwasher
• Keep Coke machine filled with ice
• Keep Coke machine clean and ice tray cleaned out
• Check restrooms hourly
• Refill guest's drinks when nothing to do
Additional Duties
• Pre-bus tables
• Sweep underneath the tables each time you clear and reset them
• Remove, clean, sanitize, and put away any booster seats/highchairs (it is embarrassing to have a customer point out that a highchair is not clean)
• Clean up any spillage quickly with a mop and place a wet floor sign. Tell the employees and anyone else to watch their step
• If a tip is left on the table, take it up front to the tip jar
• Any articles left on the tables must be taken to a Manager
• From time to time you may be asked to perform duties related to the general operation of the dining room. This may include taking the trash out, cleaning windows, and anything else a Manager may ask you to do
• Your job is a very important one in the overall service to our guests
Extras
• During the course of the shift make sure the stations are well equipped, organized and neat
• When it is not busy, you may be asked to help with the dishes or help in the kitchen with clean up (i.e. sweep floors, mop). Be prepared to help wherever you are asked to
