We are looking for mature well-organized individuals with experience working with consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This position is for small, two/three persons group homes near Old Battleground. The individuals in our group homes are non-ambulatory and need assistance with daily care. Staff are allowed to relax in common area while individuals are asleep. Staff will need to assist in getting residents ready for the day program in the morning.
Hours are EVERY OTHER WEEKEND - Saturday & Sunday - 11:30pm-8:30am!
OR
MONDAY - FRIDAY - 11:30pm-8:30am!
We will help prospective applicants obtain required training. Must have specific trainings (CPR, First Aid, NCI, Med. Admin., etc.) which will be provided when hired.
Essential Duties:
- Work with other staff members to ensure that the individual's Plan of Care is followed and documentation is completed on daily.
- Administer medication to clients in facilities and communicate with medical professionals.
- Assist client with daily chores and personal hygiene care by providing care for the persons served.
- Interact professionally with the Department of Social Services, Parents, and other staff as needed

Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Valid Driver's License (Required), Along with Reliable Transportation to Job (Punctuality Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent required (GED)
- Ability to manage the goals of multiple individuals and families on a timely basis
- Complete and maintain current trainings
- Ability to pass Background Check/Healthcare Registry Check.
- The ability to attend monthly mandatory staff meetings/ training sessions when scheduled
