Back of House Team Leader

Full-time
Rate of pay$15.25 - 18 per hour

Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting managers and senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of achieving Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. Team Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager; following established opening and closing procedures. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion restaurant vision and core values
  • Adhere to and uphold all company policies and procedures, including food safety and dress and appearance guidelines 
  • Lead small teams in assigned area of restaurant
  • Ensures Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
  • Ensures Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
  • Ensures workstations are clean at all times
  • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
  • Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling
  • Train, coach, and develop new Team Members
  • Provide training support for all rollouts at the direction of the Training Manager
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner with a positive attitude
  • Support the team as needed in different roles
  • Ability to open and/or close, lead shifts
