We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to lead energizing, fun, and safe group classes that align with our mission of member wellness and engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead engaging and educational group Zumba classes
• Provide support and guidance to members in achieving their wellness objectives
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wellness trends and information
• Build authentic relationships with members and foster a sense of community
• Keep accurate records of class attendance
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures, and respond effectively to emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold certification in areas of expertise
• Preferably have at least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to conduct classes and activities
• Perform all physical aspects of the position, including leading classes, standing, bending, and lifting

TRAINING:

• CPR, First Aid, AED within 30 days of hire
• Certification in Zumba instruction
• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire
• New Employee Orientation within first week of hire
