Responsibilities of a Member Services Staff:
- Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants
- Build relationships and help members connect with each other and the YMCA
- Ensure facility security and enforce policies
- Conduct tours, sell memberships, and handle program registrations
- Accurately conduct financial transactions and resolve membership concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Previous customer service, sales, or related experience
- Basic knowledge of computers
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Effective communication skills in person and on the phone
Training:
- Certification in CPR required within 60 days of hire
- New Employee Orientation required upon hire
