Position Description
When disaster strikes, leaders step up. We’re looking for a Commercial Project Manager to oversee large-scale restoration projects and help businesses around the country recover from water, fire, and storm damage. If you thrive in high-pressure situations, love problem-solving, and want to make a real impact in disaster relief, this is your opportunity!
Commercial Project Managers define the project scope and assist in the creation of project estimates. The project manager has a thorough understanding of the mitigation and construction processes and building materials that have been affected by wind, water, fire, smoke and other property damage causes.
This is a traveling position. ServiceMaster by Cornerstone is local to Memphis, TN.
However, for this position, you will be required to travel anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do:
- Manage large-scale commercial mitigation projects from start to finish
- Lead crews and coordinate logistics in fast-paced disaster recovery environments
- Communicate with business owners, insurance adjusters, and stakeholders
- Conduct site assessments, create scopes of work, and ensure project efficiency
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced leader – Strong background in commercial water mitigation/restoration | Established track record in leading teams and subcontractor management
- Excellent communicator – Can navigate high-stress situations with professionalism and appropriate customer service skills | Strong verbal and written and communication skills
- Hands-on problem solver – Quick thinking and adaptability are a must
- Self-starter - Able to work independently | Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Industry expertise – IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) preferred
- Ability to travel – Disaster relief isn’t a 9-to-5 job; we go where we’re needed | Must be able to travel on an on call (24/7) basis up to 200 days a year
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
