Job Description:


The Back of House Supervisor for Chick-fil-A Parsippany is responsible for all operational activities associated with the back of the restaurant, including overseeing departments such as truck ordering and kitchen operations. The Back of House Supervisor is prepared to execute daily operations with a high degree of excellence in these areas, setting the standard for operational efficiency and leading by example while mentoring and developing junior leaders and team members.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Setting daily, weekly, and monthly objectives aligned with restaurant objectives, specifically focusing on back of house operations.
  • Development of back of house team members, including training, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Building and executing systems that ensure efficient kitchen operations and a clean environment.
  • Cash management operations related to back of house functions.
  • Back of house team member and leadership corrective action and accountability.
  • Responsible for opening and closing of the back of house areas of the restaurant.
  • Leading shifts of back of house team members, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.
  • Taking ownership of specific areas of back of house growth and improvement initiatives.
  • Fulfilling operational needs in the back of house at a high level, including managing inventory, scheduling, and kitchen procedures.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a restaurant leadership role or equivalent, with a focus on back of house operations.
  • Available to work 2 evenings per week and 3 Saturdays a month, totaling 40-50 hours a week.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in operations within the customer service industry, particularly in back of house functions.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
