Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize exposure and financial impact.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure the effectiveness of risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of operational risks.

Safety Compliance:

• Stay current with local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
• Implement training programs to promote a safety-conscious culture across the organization.

Incident Response:

• Develop and oversee incident response plans to address emergencies and accidents promptly.
• Conduct post-incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective response to incidents.

Employee Training and Engagement:

• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and encourage active participation in safety initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding safety-related concerns and initiatives.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize data analytics to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of safety programs, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership on the status of risk management and safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in risk management and safety leadership roles.
• Bachelors Degree in relevant field preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership in fostering a safety-conscious culture.
