Schoenhofer Enterprises is an independent KFC franchisee with KFCs located in a 5-state area that includes Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Schoenhofer Enterprise's founder, Denis Schoenhofer is a second-generation KFC franchisee who works with daughter and son, Samantha and Cameron, on a daily basis to continue the legacy of Colonel Sanders and Chuck Schoenhofer, Denis’s father and Samantha and Cameron’s grandfather.

But ...Show full descriptionjust because his father owned KFC’s, it didn’t mean that he could just kick back and chill. Just the opposite. He breaded and fried chicken, helped customers, and took out the trash – just like everyone else at the restaurant. It was fast-paced and fun, and it was definitely a lot of work. But it was great too because it was rewarding, he got to use his brain and made some great friends.
Years later, several of Denis’s original crew still work with him today. It’s definitely a real family business. Every single day, the Schoenhofers travel to and work in stores throughout a five-state region. They rely on each other and the talented team they have assembled in some 22 restaurants. Over the years, this team has become a family and would like to welcome you into their family, as well.

Show less What is it like to work at KFC?
You enjoy people and providing friendly, accurate service to customers as well as your teammates and managers. Key responsibilities include greeting customers in the restaurant or drive-thru, taking and ringing up orders, handling payment and thanking customers. You’ll also prepare our world-famous fried chicken, store food ingredients, assemble food and beverage orders, check to make sure they’re correct, package products, and maintain a clean, safe work and dining environment.
Essential Functions:
• Lift, carry, stack, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk constantly for entire shifts.
• Maneuver through compact spaces safely and operate restaurant equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate and follow direction.
