Job Title: Youth Sports Coach

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Sports Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and mentoring young athletes in various sports, including but not limited to soccer, basketball, and volleyball. The Youth Sports Coach will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, organizing and leading practices, and coaching teams during games and tournaments.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead practices, including warm-ups, drills, and scrimmages
  • Coach teams during games and tournaments
  • Mentor and motivate young athletes to achieve their full potential
  • Provide feedback and guidance to athletes on their performance
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding team schedules, practices, and games
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

  • Previous coaching experience in youth sports
  • Strong knowledge of various sports, including rules and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in sports science, physical education, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements: The Youth Sports Coach must be able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time. They must also be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
