A certified nurse midwife, also called a CNM, is a health professional that focuses primarily on reproductive health and the birthing process. Their focus may include gynecological services, postpartum care, and peri-post menopause care. CNMs often work in hospitals alongside other nurses without this qualification. CNMs can perform a variety of tasks in support of their overall focus on birth.
