Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures. The Radiology Technician will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and records, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment
  • Develop and process images
  • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and imaging results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • State licensure and certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Experience operating and maintaining imaging equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and patients
  • Ability to work in a darkened room for extended periods of time
  • Ability to wear lead aprons and other protective gear

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a clinical setting
  • Exposure to radiation and infectious diseases
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
