• Prepare and/or monitor all food production.
• Ensures safe and sanitary practices are adhered to in accordance with company and facility policies.
• Follows all proper food safety procedures during preparation and cooking including maintaining all logs and labels.
• Ensures that all food is cooked and served at the correct temperature at all times.
• Ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently, effectively, and professionally at all times.
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of equipment throughout shift, proactively stays busy.
• Clean and sanitize all required equipment and tools as required: daily, weekly and monthly.
• Confirm compliance with all sanitation and health and safety standards.
• May assist in taking inventory.
• May assist in verifying deliveries.
• Perform morning kitchen set up and/or evening shut down duties.
• Reports damaged and inoperable equipment(s) to manager on duty.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
