Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team. The Kennel Attendant will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our animal guests, including feeding, cleaning, and providing exercise and socialization. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Feed and water animals according to their individual needs
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas
  • Provide exercise and socialization for animals
  • Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to management
  • Administer medication and treatments as directed by management or veterinary staff
  • Assist with grooming and bathing of animals
  • Answer phones and assist customers with inquiries and reservations
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with animals preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
