Job Requirements to apply:
- Management experience 3+ years (preferred but not required)
- Commit to a minimum of 1-2 years in current position
- Has reliable transportation
- Must have high school degree
- Must have great communication skills
- Must be a positive thinker and have fun
What the job schedule would look like:
- 45-50 hours per week
- 1-2 opens, 1-2 mids, and at least 1 closing shift
- Must be available on weekends
- Must be available for morning shifts
- Must be available for night shifts
- Must be available for mid shifts
- Must be available on holidays
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling for all employees
- Weekly inventory
- Managing food and labor costs
- Build and develop a positive team
- Maintaining the Jersey Mike's culture
- Communicating effectively to develop and train
- Ongoing hands-on training with all team members and managers
- Full control of operations on a daily basis
- Full control of filling/covering shifts
- Needs to be able to make decisions that are BEST for the team and store
- Host quarterly staff meetings
- Maintain a positive attitude towards staff and guests
- Must be able to hold everyone accountable for rules, proper uniform and policies
- Must be willing to train to the Jersey Mike's Standard
- Must be able to work behind the line, no clip board managers here
Training Gameplan:
8 weeks of new hire training
4 weeks @40-50 hours to complete phase 1 training (Basic operations training)
4 weeks @40-50 hours to complete phase 3 training (Manager training)
After 8 weeks of training is complete - Evaluation by leadership team to gameplan for future growth
Monthly training bonus will be applied during initial 8 weeks of training
Continued growth plan
1-3 month plan: Shift Lead training - How to run a shift
3-6 month plan: Assistant Manager training - How to support the GM
Evaluations will happen after 3 months of continued growth training, and again after 6 months.
Bonus plan to be put in place after completion of phase 3/manager training.
